Review: ILIFE V5S Pro Intelligent Robotic Vacuum Cleaner

Here we have the analyses of this very practical vacuum cleaner that makes house work much easier.

At first I was a bit apprehensive about it's efficiency and if it would really make a difference.

About that, I can say that yes, it helps and it vacuums, a lot more than I thought.

Unboxing

On the top of the vacuum cleaner, we can see a button to start it and a lid to access the reservoir.

On the side, there is an on/off button and a plug to connect the charger, if we need to do it without using the base. 

Underneath it has two "all terrain" wheels, the vacuum entrance, the brushes that pull the trash to the vacuum entrance and the wheels that makes it change directions. You can also see the sensors that avoids the falling of the vacuum from a high place, such as stairs.

It has all that's necessary, including extra replacement parts:

Conclusion

When using the remote control you can do some really cool things: 

- Program a specific hour to start the vacuum, on a daily basis

- Program it to vacuum a specific place of the house (where it's dirtier, for example) 

- Program it to vacuum the mop board of a room

- Send the vacuum cleaner to it's base

- Increase the vacuum power suction

- Change the vacuum cleaner's direction

The remote control is a very interesting feature of this vacuum cleaner because it allows you to operate it remotely (considering that on the vacuum cleaner you can only turn it on and off).

This vacuum cleaner not only vacuums the floor as it washes it too. It has a water reservoir that along with the mop, washes the floor (it's not very appropriated for floors that have carpets - I never use this function in my house).

Concluding, this vacuum cleaner vacuums every type of floors, including carpets that have short hair. If they are very long it will get stuck and turn it self off, without completing the cleaning cycle.

As for the efficiency of the vacuuming, it's really good, it vacuums a lot of hairs, dust, litter and it seems to me like a very interesting solution for people with pets.

Weaknesses:

- Ir only vacuums one room at a time, and not the whole house because it's not able to do it's mapping (this is only possible with much more expensive vacuum cleaners, like Xiaomi). 

Therefore it "walks" around the room randomly, guaranteeing an almost 100% efficiency because it moves all around.  

- It can vacuum carpets but only short hair ones, or else it will get stuck in them and turn it self off.

It's not a very expensive item and does it's job for someone that doesn't want too spend a lot of money but needs a bit of help at home.
